Rolex Oyster Perpetual 'Explorer Dial'Why We Love It The "Pre Explorer"! This beautiful Oyster Perpetual is a Reference 6084. Dating from the early 1950s, it possesses a 'semi bubbleback' case used by the manufacture from the 1930s to 1950s. Sized at 34. 5mm, this proto Oyster case sports a white non luminous "Explorer style" dial with applied Arabic indices at 3: 00, 6: 00, and 9: 00 as well as a stylized 'feuille' handset. This is one of the first applications of the 'Explorer' style
