The aircraft was produced more than any other Spitfire variant and is regarded as outshining the Bf 109 and dominating the skies over Europe until the arrival of the Fw 190. The Mk. V was the staple fighter of the RAF through the summer of 1942, with variants introducing larger engines, armament, and wing types.

The blanket is very beautiful and incredibly soft — exactly as described, and perfect for a baby. However, the packaging is a big downside. To secure the large cardboard with the prominent logo, the product used an excessive number of plastic tag fasteners. It took quite a while to carefully remove them all. If any small piece is accidentally left behind, it could pose a serious hazard for babies, as they might easily swallow it. Overall, great product quality, but the packaging design could be much safer and more thoughtful.
