The OEM units are soft rubber and break down fairly quickly with that wear accelerated the harder they are used. The worn bushings allow more movement of the rear differential under changing loads. This can intially be felt behind the wheel as slower and sloppier responsiveness, and as the OEM bushings near the end of their life or fair it can be accompanied

Quick solution to replace that OEM Plastic Mount in your BMW E90
Effective Upgrade: After installation, I have experienced no leaks, which is a significant improvement for my vehicle.
Quality Material: The aluminum construction feels durable and sturdy, offering a long-lasting solution compared to the original fitting.
Cons:
The installation process was a bit tricky. The holes didn't line up perfectly, making it a challenge to fit. While there was no need for drilling, finding the right angle to fit it required some patience and effort. Wider holes could have made the installation easier. I rate it 4 stars because of that.
Despite the challenging installation, the Aluminum Water Hose Fitting Upgrade is a worthwhile investment for anyone experiencing leaks. The improved performance and durability make it a recommended upgrade for BMW E90 owners.
