GH Halstead Fly Rod 8' 3/2 #5For sale here is a George Halstead bamboo rod 8 feet, three sections with two tips for a five weight line (possibly a WF6 would work nicely as well). Nicely restored by Walt Carpenter in 1980 and not fished since. The reel seat hardware doesn't have his die stamp and there's nothing scripted on the rod, but it's definitely a Halstead. Very powerful rod with a medium fast action. I'd recommend a DT5 line. The rod exhibits Halstead's standard 2x2 node

Keeps my dog entertained

Cute! Kind of annoying but my dog loves it and it keeps her from tearing the house up. It’s probably my dog more than the toy, she tore the Velcro off within a week. I sewed it back up, but she destroyed that too. I wish they had just the octopus plushie I could buy to replace without getting a second motor.
